I thought I'd try something a little different with regards to colour choices - I tend to favour a warmer palette, if you've seen my gallery you will have seen lots of browns, purples, reds and oranges. So I thought I'd try limiting myself to colours I don't use very often, and since the focus of the drawing is non-human I gave myself the freedom to use non-standard flesh tones. It was also fun playing with light sources, and working on my background skills :D
